What is the Forwarding feature and how does it work?

The Forwarding feature allows the user assigned to a Position to forward the task to another user defined in the Members list.
When enabled, the Forwarding button becomes visible next to action buttons in the process UI.

Note: The forwarded user cannot forward the task again. To reassign further, the task must be sent back to the original user, who can forward it again.


How to add and configure events for the Position component?

Events define actions (e.g., Approve, Reject) for the Position component.
To add an event:

  1. Open the Events tab in the Properties panel.
  2. Click Add New Event.
  3. Configure event Name, Identity, and Icon.
  4. Save and connect the event to the flow.

What is the purpose of the Members field?

The Members field defines the list of users authorized to receive forwarded tasks.
Clicking the field opens a selection panel where users can be added or removed using Add and Delete options.


What is the purpose of the Position component?

The Position component is used to assign workflow tasks to specific positions or roles in the organization.
It enables flexible routing of approval and action tasks based on predefined position-based responsibilities.


How to control flow history visibility for Position tasks?

The Show in Flow History property determines if the Position step appears in the process history:

  • Enabled → Step is visible to end users.
  • Disabled → Step is hidden from history but still executed.

How does the Hide Approver option work?

When Hide Approver is enabled, the approver’s name in the flow history is masked using ````.
Useful in workflows where sensitive approver information must be hidden.


How does the Timeout feature work in Position component?

The Timeout property defines how long a task can remain pending before automatic handling.

  • Configure Days, Hours, and Minutes.
  • When the Timeout expires, the process automatically follows the branch connected to the Timeout event.

What is the purpose of the GeoLocation property?

When GeoLocation is enabled, the Position’s location data is saved and displayed in the Flow History.
