File Content Operations
Content files are the files within a document that are added to enrich the document's content. Adding, editing, or deleting content files can only be done by users with edit permissions.
Viewing Content Files
Content files can be viewed during document viewing.
- In the DM Explorer screen, select the file to which content files need to be added.
- During the file's viewing, click the Contents button.
- The panel that opens will list the content files added to the document.
- The listed files can be viewed by double-clicking on them.
- Once the panel is closed, the user will return to the document viewing screen.
Content File Management
During the document editing phase, new content files can be added, existing content files can be edited, or files can be deleted. Document editing can be initiated by clicking the Start Work button in the viewing screen.

Adding a Content File
- In the document editing phase, click the Contents button.
- The panel that opens will list the content files added to the document.
- Click the Add button in the top left of the panel to select a file to add from the user's computer.
- The selected file will be added to the list.
Editing a Content File
- In the document editing phase, click the Contents button.
- The panel that opens will list the content files added to the document.
- In the list of the panel, click the Edit icon button to open the relevant row in edit mode.
- The description and title of the content file can be edited. If multiple languages are used, translations can be added by clicking the localization button.
- Once edited, click the Confirm icon button to save the changes, or click Cancel to discard the edit.
Setting the Default Content
- In the document editing phase, click the Contents button.
- The panel that opens will list the content files added to the document.
- In the list, check the Default option to change the default content.
- The new default content file must be of the same type as the current default content file. For example, if the default content file is a PDF, the new content file must also be in PDF format.
Deleting a Content File
- In the document editing phase, click the Contents button.
- The panel that opens will list the content files added to the document.
- In the list of the panel, click the Delete icon button to open a window for user confirmation.
- The default content file cannot be deleted.
- Once the delete operation is confirmed, the content file is removed from the list.
