Fill MetaData
When a file or folder is added, metadata (profile form) information is collected from the user and assigned to the corresponding file or folder.
File Metadata (Profile) Form
When a file is added to a defined directory, the metadata (profile) form screen automatically opens.
On the screen, the files added are listed on the left section. When files are selected here, the corresponding metadata form(s) appear in the right section.
If any of the fields marked as Required are left blank, the system will prompt a warning.
If the same form needs to be applied to multiple files, multiple selections can be made. To select all files quickly, click Select All.
Click the OK button to save the metadata form along with the files that have been defined.
Folder Metadata (Profile) Form
When a new folder is added to a defined directory, the metadata (profile) form screen automatically opens.
At the top of the screen, there are fields for entering Folder Name and Folder Description.
In the lower section, the corresponding metadata form(s) appear.
If any of the fields marked as Required are left blank, the system will prompt a warning.
Click the OK button to save the metadata form along with the newly created folder.
