UserSettings Delegations

This is a process that allows a user to temporarily delegate their account access to another user. Delegation is used to ensure that operations are not interrupted, especially when a user is unable to access the system for a certain period.

Delegations Tab

This screen lists the delegations given from the user account to other users.

On this screen, you can define, edit, revoke, and delete delegations.

Create Delegation

To delegate authority to another user, go to the Delegation and Access Keys tab and click on the New button. In the opened screen, you must select the user to whom the delegation will be given, define the delegation's validity period, choose a position if position-based delegation is needed, and specify the delegation's scope. See Create Delegation documentation for more details.

Delete Delegation

When a delegation is selected from the inactive list of existing and revoked delegations in the system, the Remove button will become visible. Clicking the Remove button will delete the delegation. See Delete Delegation documentation for more details.

Edit Delegation

To edit a delegation given to a user, hover over the relevant delegation. The Edit button will appear in the three-dot menu. In the window that opens, the information about the delegation should be pre-filled. Edits can be made to the Delegation Date, Position to be Delegated, and Scope. See Edit Delegation documentation for more details.

Revoke Delegation

To revoke a delegation given to a user, the relevant delegation must be selected from the list. When selected, the Revoke option will appear in the top menu. By entering the verification code in the window that opens, the delegation can be revoked. See Revoke Delegation documentation for more details.
